Under Official Partnership: Ithra Opens Al Khobar Season and Launches Winter 2026 Program

The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra)—an initiative by Saudi Aramco—is launching its "Ithra Winter" programs in conjunction with the opening of "Al Khobar Season" on Friday, November 13, 2026, at the Al Khobar Corniche. This comes as part of its official partnership for the season in collaboration with the Eastern Province Development Authority and the Saudi Tourism Authority, represented by Saudi Arabia's official tourism brand "Saudi Welcome to Arabia" (Saudis' Spirit). This participation extends the Center's ongoing efforts to offer qualitative cultural programs that enrich the artistic scene and support tourism movement.

Al Khobar: A Story Written by the Sea

Ithra Center inaugurates Al Khobar Season under the slogan "Al Khobar: A Story Written by the Sea" in an extraordinary evening featuring a program that blends visual storytelling, light effects synchronized with music, and live artistic performances. Highlights include a boat parade reflecting the city's connection to the sea, a fishermen's show, a poetry recital by Saudi poet Abdulatif Al-Mubarak, a live musical performance by the Carola ensemble, the traditional Saudi Ardah, and a concluding patriotic musical tableau presented by musician Mohammed Rabat.
